Rental terms and conditions

01 Drivers

The minimum age and how long the driving licence must have been held are subject to the insurance conditions.
Only the people named in the contract may drive. Additional driver: €25 per booking for rentals of less than 7 days; free from 7 days.
A valid ID card or passport and a valid driving licence are required for each driver.

The booking is confirmed when the 30 % deposit is received by bank transfer. From the request, the dates are held for 48 hours.
The remaining 70 % is payable 7 days before the departure date. For bookings made less than 7 days in advance, 100 % is payable on booking.
Prices include VAT.

A €1,000 security deposit, separate from the rental payment, pre-authorised before handover.
Before it is released, we check: exterior and interior condition, any damage, inventory and accessories, fuel, chemical WC, grey water tank, cleanliness and any outstanding incidents or charges.
It is released within 7 days at most after inspection, unless an incident is pending assessment.
Only the amount needed is withheld in the event of damage, missing fuel, extra cleaning, fines, tolls, penalties or other outstanding charges.

Minimum days by season: low 3, mid 4, high 7, peak 7.
3 to 6 days: 300 km/day included; each additional kilometre is charged at €0.40.
From 7 days: unlimited mileage.

In Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona), always by appointment. The times shown on the website are approximate and are confirmed with the customer.
At handover we explain how the motorhome works and go through a digital inventory together, with photos and video: mileage, fuel, gas bottles, water tanks, WC, exterior and interior condition, existing damage and accessories. The customer signs the handover report.
On return the same check is repeated (return mileage, fuel, gas, tanks, WC, damage, cleanliness and accessories) and the return report is signed.
Fuel: handed over with a full tank and must be returned full.
Gas: bottles are handed over full; return them full or the gas used is charged.
Parking for the customer's car, subject to availability.

Normal exterior cleaning between bookings is included. The interior must be returned reasonably clean.
Extraordinary cleaning: from €100.
Chemical toilet not emptied: €75. Grey water not emptied: €50.
Smoking inside the vehicle is forbidden: surcharge from €250.

On request and subject to approval: €65 per booking, special cleaning included.
If the vehicle is returned exceptionally dirty or with damage caused by the pet, this will be charged separately in accordance with these terms.
Undeclared pet: €100 surcharge.

If, due to a breakdown, accident or other cause beyond our control, the vehicle cannot be handed over, Segimon Rental will offer a change of dates or a full refund of all amounts paid.

The vehicle may be driven in Spain and in the countries covered by the insurance. This must be notified before collection.

Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited.
The customer is responsible for any fines and penalties incurred during the rental.
Roadside assistance as per the insurance terms.

Additional mileage (3 to 6-day rentals): €0.40 per km above the included kilometres.
Missing fuel or gas: we charge what is needed to refill it.
Unauthorised late return: charged as set out in the contract.
Lost or damaged accessories: replacement or repair cost.
Damage to the vehicle: assessed at the return check under the contract and the insurance conditions.
Outstanding charges may be deducted from the security deposit.
